The Oxide Distributing Company Limited has been operating since 1973.

The initial aims of the company were to supply the ISO 9002 rated Bayferrox Oxides in clean packaging to the retail sector for the home handyman market.

The items included 86cc vials, 1kg packs and 25kg bags in stylised cardboard outers.

Since that time the company has moved into the bulk supply of oxides to the concrete industry in general, providing oxides in the initial range to one tonne bulk bags.

More recently we have met the demand of ready-mix concrete plants by supplying “G & C” grade pigments in measured quantities in 20 litre buckets and the retail sector with oxides in 5 litre and 10 litre buckets.

The time saving to the ready-mix industry by not having to measure doses plus the added advantage of the lack of dust when dosing is immeasurable.

We also specialise in blending oxides to provide a range of attractive colours for flooring, tilt slab walls and exterior plaster coatings or provide blends to meet individual tastes.

With the appearance of colour on motorway surrounds, kerbing, floors and concrete buildings the demand for colour enhancement continues to grow. 

The intention of this website is to give a brief outline for the colouring of concrete.
